What to Expect at a Murder Mystery?

Expect to be steeped in the world of the mystery from the moment your  guests arrive. You won’t just sit and watch at one of our immersive events! Every guest gets to be a part of the show in some way. A lucky  few will win Detective of the Night!

A group of highly trained improv actors come set the scene for a murder that you, the guest, will have the next two hours to solve. Many of the guests at the event will be chosen to play the parts of suspects, but EVERYONE gets to help solve the crime.

Some people are worried about being chosen as a suspect. It could not be easier. Our actors will have costume items selected for you, and everything you need to know will be given to you in a binder. Our actors will clue you in when it is time for your character to do something. The most you will ever have to do is read a line or two out loud and answer some questions. Our team won’t let you fail! Our number-one priority is that everyone has fun, and we make sure that our chosen characters are given all the tools needed to have a worry-free experience.

No two murder mystery parties are the same, but there are some common elements that one can expect. Pre-Show Mingle Time. While your guests are arriving and settling in for the event, the actors will be freely mingling with them. At this time, the actors will explain the rules of the murder mystery to small groups of your guests. Don’t worry, if a guest does not receive an explanation from your actors, whatever the reason, the actors will also do a presentational version of the rules for everyone at the start of the show.
