With the approval from the Merrimack Town Council, we are are excited to open up registration for Naticook Day Camp for Summer 2021. We are currently waiting for updated COVID-19 guidelines from the NH Department of Health and Human Services on any additional procedures that will need to be put in place this coming summer. Once that guidance has been released, we will be making a presentation to the Town Council with our plans on how to keep campers and staff safe at camp this Summer.
It is unclear at this time whether the State of NH will allow us to offer our Camp Trek Field Trip program. When the updated Summer Camp guidance is released we will make a decision at that time. In the meantime we invite all TREK aged campers to join us for a traditional day camp program at Wasserman Park. If we are able to run the TREK program, registered participants will be able to switch into that program.
For questions, please contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 603-882-1046.
Naticook Summer Day Camp program offers a unique Summer Day Camp experience in the Town of Merrimack, NH. Located within Wasserman Park, the park was formerly the site of a private overnight camp. In 1989, the Town of Merrimack made arrangements to purchase the camp and turned the land into a public park. Naticook Day Camp operates under the direction of the Parks & Recreation Department and has been continuously accredited by the American Camp Association since 1994.
Our Summer Camp is geared towards children entering Pr-Kindergarten up through 9th Grade. Our goal is to create a one-of-a-kind experience in a fun and safe environment that promotes self-confidence, respect, and good sportsmanship. We provide Campers with the opportunity to try new activities learn new skills and develop new friendships. Our Campers participate in a wide variety of activities including free swim and swimming lessons, boating, group games, team building, archery, drama, nature exploration, sports, arts & crafts, special events and much more!
Each year, Naticook Day Camp hires two 1:1 Aides to provide support for those children who require additional assistance in order to have a successful experience at Camp. Parents must complete an application and spaces are limited. For complete details and to download the request form for your child to have an Aide at camp, please click here.
