We would like to thank everyone who joined up for the 2.75 Mile "Not Quite a 5K" Road race on Saturday, May 15th. Race results were emailed out yesterday, but you can also access the results by clicking on the link below.
In 2021, the Town of Merrimack officially turns 275 years old. As part of the Town’s yearlong celebration; the Parks & Recreation Department is organizing a 2.75 mile road race called the “Not Quite A 5K Run/Walk” in Celebration of Merrimack.
This family-friendly road race is perfect for both avid runners and recreational walkers alike. The relatively flat course begins and ends in the heart of historic downtown Merrimack. The race will be professionally timed by North Star Timing and will employ a “time trial start” format that will facilitate “social distancing”. Participants will be seeded based on their self-submitted paces and sorted by pace from fastest to slowest.
Not able to join us in person?
We are also offering a 2.75 Mile Virtual Race! For this event you will have access to RaceJoy which is our GPS virtual race tracking app. It allows you to run your 2.75 mile virtual race anywhere in the world and the results will be automatically uploaded to our results page. You can also create free virtual bibs and finishers certificates. We look forward to you joining us “virtually” sometime between Saturday May 15, 2021 thru Sunday May 23, 2021.
