Registration Information:
All programs are offered on a “first come – first serve” basis online thru our website, by mailing in a registration form or in person at the Parks & Recreation office. Registrations are accepted when you submit your completed registration form and enrollment fee a minimum of 2 weeks before the start date of your program. Classes not reaching the minimum enrollment 2 weeks before the starting day will be canceled and a refund will be sent. Class sizes are limited so please register early. Waiting lists will be taken as classes reach their maximum enrollment.No makeup classes, credits, or refunds for holidays, inclement weather or missed classes.Programs are open to all residents regardless of race, gender or physical abilities.

Confirmation of your course will NOT be made. You will only be notified if the class is full or is cancelled due to low enrollment. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend your class at the first meeting.

Photo & Video Policy: The Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to photograph facility, activity and program participants at any and all department sponsored events for potential future use. All photos will remain the property of the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department and may be used in future program guides, brochures, pamphlets, or news releases for promotional purposes or in recognition of department sponsored events. If you do not wish to have your picture taken, please notify a member of the staff.
 

Withdrawals, Refunds, Cancellations, and Transfers

  1. Participants who wish to withdraw from a program must notify the Parks & Recreation Department at least ten (10) days prior to the start of the program. All program cancellations will be assessed a $10.00 administrative processing fee. All refunds will be issued in the form of a check from the Town of Merrimack and may take up to two (2) weeks to process.
  2. Refunds may be given for medical reasons which arise less than ten (10) days prior to the start of a program. In the event that a medical issue arises after the start of the program, the refund will be prorated. For all medical cancellations wanting reimbursement, the request must be accompanied by a physician’s letter.
  3. If a program is cancelled due to low enrollment, participants will receive a full refund.
  4. Participants will be permitted, if space allows, a transfer to another program. Should the program the participant is transferring into have a higher fee, they will be expected to remit the difference in fee at the time of requesting the transfer.

  
Scholarship Assistance: The Town of Merrimack has a limited amount of privately donated scholarship funds available for Merrimack families facing financial hardship. Scholarships could help fund up to one week of camp and are awarded based on financial need. Applications and information are available by ontacting the Town of Merrimack Welfare Department at 423-8535 or at welfare@merrimacknh.gov
