2020 Summer Movies in the Park

Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation this summer for our FREE Movie Nights in the Park!  What better way to enjoy a beautiful night out than to relax in Wasserman Park and enjoy a night out with family and friends. 


Merrimack Parks &  Recreation will be hosting three Movies in the Park during Summer 2020 on the big screen.  Free popcorn will be available at all movies as well as a Free activity before the start of each movie. Details on each movie are listed below. Click on the movie poster to view the official movie trailer. 


All movies  will be held at Wasserman Park; which is located at 116 Naticook Road, Merrimack.  Movies are open to both Residents and Non-Residents.  In the event of inclement weather; movies will be moved indoors to the Function Hall at Wasserman Park. 

Friday, June 12th: Frozen 2

Elsa the Snow Queen has an extraordinary gift -- the power to  create ice and snow. But no matter how happy she is to be surrounded by  the people of Arendelle, Elsa finds herself strangely unsettled. After  hearing a mysterious voice call out to her, Elsa travels to the  enchanted forests and dark seas beyond her kingdom -- an adventure that soon turns into a journey of self-discovery.

Friday, July 10th: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Movie Start Time: 8:30 pm

When it's discovered that the evil Emperor Palpatine did not die  at the hands of Darth Vader, the rebels must race against the clock to  find out his whereabouts. Finn and Poe lead the Resistance to put a stop  to the First Order's plans to form a new Empire, while Rey anticipates  her inevitable confrontation with Kylo Ren.  Rated PG -13

Friday, August 7th: Toy Story 4

Movie Start Time: 8:00 pm

Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang embark on a road  trip with Bonnie and a new toy named Forky. The adventurous journey  turns into an unexpected reunion as Woody's slight detour leads him to  his long-lost friend Bo Peep. As Woody and Bo discuss the old days, they  soon start to realize that they're worlds apart when it comes to what they want from life as a toy.
