Abbie Griffin Park is in the town center portion of Merrimack, adjacent to Town Hall. Numerous concerts and festivities are held in this park each year. The bandstand is also a popular place for weddings.
The Bandstand at Abbie Griffin Park is a beautiful spot to host wedding or other outdoor events. To reserve the Park & Bandstand; interested parties must fill out the on reservation form and submit it to the Parks and Recreation Department for approval.
Abbie Griffin Park is available for reservations from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm each day (Subject to time of sunset).
We now offer the ability to submit requests to use Abbie Griffin Park online. There is no fee associated with renting the Park & Bandstand, however reservations are required to avoid overlapping events. Requests must be submitted at least 7 days in advance. You can either click on the link to the right to submit them online or you can download a paperwork reservation form here.

Park Hours: All parks in town open half hour before sunrise and close half hour after sunset.
No use is allowed outside of these hours unless a special permit is granted by the Parks & Recreation Department.
Gazebo Reservations:
If you choose to submit your request online, the reservation system (Rec Desk) will require you to create an account if you don't already have one. This is the same system that we use for program registrations and so if you have participated in any program with us; you will have an account established already.

The Angel of Hope Monument was installed at Abbie Griffin Park in September 2021 and is a tranquil place to remember, honor, and never forget the little ones who have gone too soon through pregnancy or infant loss. This monument is organized by the NH Chapter of the Tears Foundation and the Town of Merrimack has provided them space within the Park.
The Angel will be holding a baby and a poem of hope is etched in the granite next to the Angel. Two butterfly monuments will be placed on the sides of the Angel of Hope and include the names of babies who are loved and remembered. Benches have been placed so families can have a place to sit and reflect. Whether your child died due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death, may you find healing and peace with a public memorial to honor your child.
