Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation and Staff from Camp Naticook during this no school day program (due to Town Elections) with activities designed to keep your children busy and entertained all day long.
We will spend our day at Wasserman Park where children will participate in a variety of sports, games, arts & crafts projects, nature exploration, outdoor activities and much more.
A daily hot lunch is included in the cost of your tuition. Advanced registration is required and spaces are limited.

Thursday, September 10th

Come join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department on, September 10th and test your luck as as we travel down to the Encore Boston Harbor Casino in Massachusetts.
You don’t need to be an experienced game player to enjoy this trip. There is something for people of all skill levels. As part of registration fee, all participants will receive a $20.00 free slot play coupon.
The bus will depart from Twin Bridge Park in Merrimack (485 Daniel Webster Highway). at 9:00 am and will departs Casino at 2:30 pm to return at approximately 4:00 pm.

Join the Town of Merrimack, 250th Celebrations Committee and American Legion Post 98 as a commemorate the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 with a Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11th at 6:30 pm.

Merrimack Parks & Recreation has teamed up with Collette Vacations to offer this special 10 day trip to Sunny Portugal in May 2027.
There will be a no obligation trip information session held on Tuesday, September 22nd at 2:00 pm in the Memorial Conference Room at Merrimack Town Hall; located at 6 Baboosic Lake Road (near the Town Clerk's Window)

The Naticook Challenge 5K Obstacle Course Race returns to Wasserman Park on Saturday September 26th for it's seventh year. Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation for this Annual 5K Race that is both fun and challenging to test your abilities.
If you are new to this, you may be asking yourself, what is an obstacle course race? It is a trail based race that that involves challenges for the other parts of your body (crawling, climbing, or hanging for examples). The course is a 5k distance and includes 12 or more beginner to intermediate level obstacles. There are obstacle bypass exercises available if unable to complete an obstacle.
The first 200 registered participants will receive an official Naticook Challenge Runners T-Shirt and a finisher's medal and a free entry into a Spartan Race.

The untold true story of the Witches of Oz
So much happened before Dorothy dropped in. WICKED, the Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land of Oz... but from a different angle.
Price includes tickets in the Left Mezzanine level seats in rows K - O, along deluxe motor coach transportation to the show. Seating assignments will be placed based upon order of registration received. We will hand out the tickets to you when you get on the bus on the day of the show to avoid lost tickets.

Do you like to spend time outdoors? Accidents happen; if you or someone in your group got hurt, would you know what to do? People get hurt, sick, or lost. Many back country emergencies are preventable and even when bad things happen, sometimes the wrong care can make things worse.
Wilderness First Aid is the perfect course for the outdoor enthusiast or trip leader who wants more than basic level of first aid training for short trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups. The 16 hour long (two-day) program focuses on the skills of: Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies.
Those who complete the course and pass the written and practical skills will receive a Wilderness First Aid certification from SOLO which is valid for 2 years.
