The Naticook After School program offers a safe, supportive alternative between school and home for children in grades K - 4. NASP will run from 2:45 pm - 6:00 pm Monday-Friday throughout the school year and is held in the Function Hall at Wasserman Park. .
For our initial year, Bus Transportation from Thornton's Ferry Elementary School will be provided. As this program grows, we hope to eventually expand to the other elementary schools in town.

Park & Buildings Maintenance Staff
The Parks & Recreation Dept has an immediate opening for a Part Time Year Round Maintainer (25 hours per week) to maintain the buildings and grounds at Wasserman Park. Position is Mondays - Fridays and ideal candidate would work daily from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm but we have some flexibility for the right candidate. Review of applications begins immediately.

Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation on select Saturday Nights this summer with our free movie nights in the Park. What better way to enjoy a beautiful night out than to relax and enjoy a free night out with family and friends. Movies will be held at Wasserman Park and Movies are open to both Residents and Non-Residents. All movies begin at dusk.

Parents night out is back for this Fall, because every parent deserves some time to themselves while their child/ren are off having fun. Let the energetic Parks & Recreation Department staff give you a break so you can take some time to enjoy a night out without your children.
Participants can join us for this Nerf War themed fun filled evening, where many variations of of nerf battles will be moderated by staff. Nerf battles will be the primary but not only activity played. Participants will also get to enjoy a pizza dinner as the evening break! Advanced registration is required and spaces are limited.

Wasserman Park
The Town of Merrimack's Annual Halloween Party returns to Wasserman Park on Saturday, October 28th for it's 31st year!
This year's event will feature a wide variety of free games, crafts, face painting, food (for sale), costume contest and much more which are provided by our local businesses & community partner organizations.
This year's event will be held entirely outdoors at Wasserman Park and will be spread out in the Park with activities taking place between the basketball court, function hall and softball field.

Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation on Saturday, October 28th for the latest addition to this year's Annual Halloween Party - the Pumpkin Soapbox Derby Race.
The rules are simple: build a Derby Racer with a small pumpkin by putting two axles through a pumpkin and attaching the wheels. At race time, put your Derby Racer in the starting block, and let ‘er roll!
