Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation on select Saturday Nights this summer with our free movie nights in the Park. What better way to enjoy a beautiful night out than to relax in Wasserman Park and enjoy a night out with family and friends. All movies will be held at Wasserman Park (on the baseball field next to the Tennis Courts). The Park is located at 116 Naticook Road, Merrimack.
Movies are open to both Residents and Non-Residents and are free. We would like to thank the Merrimack Lions Club for once again sponsoring this years movie series.

Come and join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department this summer for our free weekly Summer Concert Series at Abbie Griffin Park. Concerts are held on Wednesday Nights from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Concerts will feature a variety of musical performances including Oldies, Swing, Rhythm & Blues & Classic Rock music and more to fill the air! Bring your family & friends, blankets & chairs, & dinner to enjoy this free night of entertainment each week.
The Town of Merrimack's Annual 4th of July Parade is one of the larger Independence Day Parades in the State of New Hampshire. The Parade features a wide range of bands, militia units, clowns, local businesses, community organizations and more.
We are currently accepting registrations for groups to participate in the Parade. Participating can be as easy as putting a decorating a bicycle or a vehicle and just riding along or can be a highly decorated float. It is a great way to show your patriotism and get some free advertising for your business or organization at the same time! We want the parade to be a fun, family friendly event for all to enjoy and the more local groups that participate, the better!
There is no cost to participate but advanced registration is required.
The Parks & Recreation Department is seeking Lifeguards to work at the Town Beach at Wasserman Park this summer. Position is 40 hours per week on Mondays - Fridays; with no nights or weekends required. Must be at least 16 years of age. Rate of page is $15.00 per hour.
Not currently certified? We can help you find a course. If you get certified and come work for us this summer; we will reimburse you 100% of the cost of the Lifeguard Course.

The Wasserman Park Town Beach shall be for the exclusive use of Merrimack residents and their authorized guests. Nonresident visitors are permitted to use the area only when they are directly accompanied by a Merrimack resident.
The waterfront parking lot is restricted to Merrimack residents only. Vehicles must have a 2022 Merrimack Transfer Station Sticker on their vehicle or a 2022 Wasserman Park Parking Placard.
Wasserman Park Parking Placards are available at the Town Clerk’s Office at Town Hall, Mondays – Fridays between 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. The Wasserman Park Parking Placard is also available from the Parks & Recreation Department office Mondays – Fridays between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. and on Saturdays and Sundays at the Beach Parking Lot from 10:00 - 6:00 pm.
