National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. This is a free community event with food, games, crafts, music and more.
We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Naticook After School Program for the 2025–2026 school year.
The Naticook After School Program provides a safe, supportive environment for children in grades K–6 during the after-school hours. The program follows the Merrimack School District calendar.
For the upcoming school year, bus transportation will be available for students attending the following schools:
Families may choose to enroll their child for 1 to 5 days per week, based on their needs at a rate of $26/day for the first child in the household and additional children at a rate of $21/day.
Registration requires a deposit of just $1 per day. Program fees will be billed on the last day of each month. Advanced registration is required and spaces are filling fast.

The American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguard Certification course provides participants the knowledge and skills to prevent recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies in both shallow water (less than 7 feet) and deeper water (7 feet or more) and to provide professional level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.
Participants who successfully complete this course receive an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (including deep water) with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid valid for 2 years and Waterfront Skills valid for 2 years.
