2024-2025 AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM 

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

The Naticook After School program offers a safe, supportive alternative between school and home for children in grades K - 4. 

The program runs from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday throughout the school year and is held in the Function Hall at Wasserman Park. 

Children have the option to sign up for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week  which you will select your days attending below. 

For the 2024-2025 School Year; bus transportation is offered to children attending Thornton's Ferry Elementary School and Mastricola Elementary School only. 

Merrimack  Parks & Recreation has teamed up with Collette Vacations to over  this special 9 day trip to Costa Rica in March / April 2025.

Come join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department on Thursday,  September 12th and test your luck as as we travel down to the Encore  Boston Harbor Casino in Massachusetts.
 

You don’t need to be an experienced  game player to enjoy this trip. There is something for people of all  skill levels. As part of registration fee, all participants will receive  a $20.00 free slot play coupon.
 

The bus will depart from Twin  Bridge Park in Merrimack (485 Daniel Webster Highway). at 9:00 am and  will departs Casino at 2:30 pm to return at approximately 4:00 pm. This trip is open to both residents  and non-residents so bring all your friends! All participants must be  pre-registered and seats are limited!  

Fall Foliage Turkey Train Bus Trip

Come join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department on Monday,  September 23rd as we travel to Meredith NH for a foliage Turkey Dinner  Train.

Enjoy a complete turkey dinner catered by Hart’s Turkey  Farm! Your round-trip excursion departs Meredith Station and travels  south along the western shore of Lake Winnipesaukee though Weirs Beach  and Paugus Bay towards Lakeport, NH and back along the very same route.

While  you’re aboard the train you’ll enjoy panoramic views of New Hampshire’s  largest lake, while sneaking a peek at some of the many beautiful  lakeside vacation homes we’ll pass along the way. Your meal includes  freshly carved roast turkey, stuffing, whipped potato, butternut squash,  gravy, rolls & butter and warm apple crisp for dessert!

The  Naticook Challenge 5K Obstacle Course Race returns to Wasserman Park on  Saturday October 12th for it's fifth year. Come and join Merrimack  Parks & Recreation for this Annual 5K Race that is both fun and  challenging to test your abilities. 

The  course is a 5k distance and includes 8 or more  beginner to intermediate level obstacles. There are obstacle bypass  exercises available if unable to complete an obstacle.
