Come and join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department this summer for our free weekly Summer Concert Series at Abbie Griffin Park. Concerts are held on Wednesday Nights from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Concerts will feature a variety of musical performances including Oldies, Swing, Rhythm & Blues & Classic Rock music and more to fill the air!
Bring your family & friends, blankets & chairs, & dinner to enjoy this free night of entertainment each week.

Seeing a need for affordable after school child care; the Parks & Recreation Department is starting a new After School Program for Fall 2023. Registration is now open for the 2023 – 2024 School Year.
The Naticook After School program offers a safe, supportive alternative between school and home for children in grades K – 4; which will operate on the Merrimack School Year Calendar daily from 2:45 – 6:00 pm. Monday – Friday.
For the initial year, Bus Transportation from Thornton's Ferry Elementary School will be provided. As this program grows, we hope to eventually expand to the other elementary schools in Town.

The Town of Merrimack's Annual 4th of July Celebration is a public private partnership between the Town of Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department who coordinates the July 3rd Holiday Concert in the Park with the Merrimack Concert Association; the Annual 4th of July Parade & the Fireworks Display. The Merrimack Rotary Club organizes the Annual Pancake Breakfast and the Merrimack Road Runners Boosters Club organizes the Sparkler 5K Road Race.

The Naticook Day Camp Counselor in Training Program (CIT) returns after a 4 year hiatus with an entirely new look. This FREE CIT program prepares teens who are 15 years old to become future leaders by developing self-esteem, peer relations, interpersonal skills, and leadership techniques. CIT participants will receive training to prepare them to work with adults, peers, and children.
Through a hands on learning experience, CIT's will get the chance to plan and implement camp activities for various age groups. They will also get the chance to learn from our dedicated team of camp staff. CIT’s will help to plan and implement weekly Camp special events.
