Come and join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Staff during the February School Vacation for activities designed to keep your children busy and entertained.
Program is geared towards children in Grades K - 5. We are limiting the program to a small group of 16 kids per day which will be split into 2 small groups of 8 kids each.

With the approval from the Merrimack Town Council, we are are excited to open up registration for Naticook Day camp for Summer 2021.
We are currently waiting for updated COVID-19 guidelines from the NH Department of Health and Human Services on any additional procedures needed. We will be making a presentation to the Town Council this winter once Summer guidance has been released on how to keep campers and staff safe this Summer.

The Merrimack Summer Stage Theater Program will be returning to the Wasserman Park Theater this summer. In this week long theater camp; participants will learn about scene acting, vocal work, dance and creative movement, theater games and improvisation.
Participants will work together to produce a theatrical program that will be performed at the last day of the Theater Camp. When participants are not rehearsing, fun crafts and activities will be supervised by staff.
The Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department has begun planning for the 29th Annual Winter Carnival; which will be held on Saturday, February 20th, 2021 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Wasserman Park.
The purpose of this Annual Event is to bring families outdoors during the winter and get them participating in a variety of fun and free activities.
We are looking for Businesses & Community Organizations to join us for this great Community event. There is no fee to participate. Click on the link below for details

The demo Tai Chi class will be the start to learning the traditional Yang Style Long Form at your own pace. The regular classes include the 128 movement form, philosophy, breathing and meditation, along with push-hands and martial application of the movements.
Each student receives individual instruction on movement as well as group instruction on general principles and techniques. All classes will be taught by Sifu Leon Drucker with over 45 years experience practicing Tai Chi.

SOLO’s Advanced Wilderness First Aid Course was designed with guides and part-time trip leaders in mind. Recognizing that these are high-risk activities, a more in-depth training was needed.
Two days longer than our basic Wilderness First Aid course, the Advanced Wilderness First Aid Course delves more deeply into traumatic injuries of the neck and spine, medical emergencies, and environmental emergencies such as hypothermia and heat injuries.

The Merrimack Parks & Recreation and the Lions Club of Merrimack have teamed up with the American Red Cross to host a Spring Community Blood Drive at Wasserman Park on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The American Red Cross is facing a shortage that has led to an "urgent need" for blood donors of all types. Please consider donating an hour of your time to give a pint a blood and help to save 3 lives
Did you know that On April 2, 1746, Governor Benning Wentworth signed a charter establishing that the land from Pennichuck Brook to the Souhegan River became the Town of Merrymac.
On April 2, 2021, the Town of Merrimack will officially commemorate its 275th Anniversary. A committee has been formed to develop plans to celebrate this momentous occasion.
