Come and join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department this summer for our free weekly Summer Concert Series at Abbie Griffin Park. Concerts are held on Wednesday Nights from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Concerts will feature a variety of musical performances including Oldies, Swing, Rhythm & Blues & Classic Rock music and more to fill the air! Bring your family & friends, blankets & chairs, & dinner to enjoy this free night of entertainment each week.

Abbie Griffin Park
Due to a scheduling conflict by the Merrimack Concert Association, the annual Patriotic Concert in Abbie Griffin Park will be held on Friday July 2nd instead of the traditional July 3rd Date.
Help us to kick off the Independence Day Festivities with an evening of patriotic tunes, marches, and other popular selections performed by the Merrimack Concert Association.
The event will be held at Abbie Griffin Park which is located behind Merrimack Town Hall, 6 Baboosic Lake Road.
We are pleased to announce that the Town of Merrimack’s Annual 4th of July Parade and Fireworks Display is a go for this year!
Both the parade and fireworks will be held on Sunday July 4th.

Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation on select Friday Nights this summer with our free movie nights in the Park.
What better way to enjoy a beautiful night out than to relax in Wasserman Park and enjoy a night out with family and friends. All movies will be held at Wasserman Park (on the baseball field next to the Tennis Courts). The Park is located at 116 Naticook Road, Merrimack. Movies are open to both Residents and Non-Residents and are free.
Access to the Souhegan River from Watson Park is now closed. A new fence was installed in Fall 2020 and the access to the river is now closed and will remain locked for the duration of the summer.
The Wasserman Park Town Beach shall be for the exclusive use of Merrimack residents and their authorized guests. Nonresident visitors are permitted to use the area only when they are directly accompanied by a Merrimack resident.
The waterfront parking lot is restricted to Merrimack residents only. Vehicles must have a 2021 Merrimack Transfer Station Sticker on their vehicle or a 2021 Wasserman Park Parking Placard.
Due to circumstances beyond our control; the Beach renovation project has been postponed until Fall 2021.
Did you know that On April 2, 1746, Governor Benning Wentworth signed a charter establishing that the land from Pennichuck Brook to the Souhegan River became the Town of Merrymac.
On April 2, 2021, the Town of Merrimack will officially celebrated it's 275th birthday. A committee has been formed to develop plans to celebrate this momentous occasion. Programs and events will be offered thruout the year; visit us online to see the latest offerings.
