Amazing Athletes is an education sports and fitness program endorsed by child development experts to help children reach motor development milestones while building confidence through positive movement experiences.
For over 20+ years, Amazing Athletes have been partnering with schools and communities, helping to set kids on a path to an active and healthy lifestyle by teaching them the basics of sports, health and nutrition. By introducing kids to a variety of sports and physical activities, we give them an opportunity to discover and explore to find what they most enjoy and can pursue as they grow.

With the help of our Muscle Zoo friends, we teach the fundamentals of martial arts in this high-energy progression-based program. Students learn & practice the traditions & skills of the sport, and receive colored belts and stripes for their achievement. Hi-yah!
Inspired by the traditions & practices of martial arts, Karate Zoo is designed to benefit a child’s physical, social & emotional development while building confidence & teaching practical life lessons.

Soccer Stars has impacted over 1 million kids over the last 20+ years through soccer. We use soccer as a vehicle to help children playfully develop self-confidence, improve motor skills, hone socialization skills, while having fun and preparing them pressure free for tryout sports.

Start the night with a delicious pizza dinner, then gear up for a thrilling evening of competitive games! From fast-paced tabletop challenges to life-size board games, participants will test their skills, strategize with friends, and compete for bragging rights in a fun, energetic environment.

5 Signs Your Child is Ready To Be Home Alone".
-Desires to be home alone and isn't afraid

-Demonstrates independence and self-discipline
Learn the basics of being safe when home alone for short periods of time. We’ll talk about how to answer the telephone and door, internet safety, first aid techniques, accident prevention, fire protection and more will be discussed. Youth will have a better understanding of responsibility & independence. This is an interactive class. Each student will receive a handbook and make a first aid kit. Class will be held in the Function Hall at Wasserman Park.

Friday, February 6th

Let the energetic Parks & Recreation Department staff give you a break so you can take some time to enjoy a night out without your children. Participants can join us for this Nerf War themed fun filled evening, where many variations of of nerf battles will be moderated by staff. Nerf battles will be the primary but not only activity played. Participants will also get to enjoy a pizza dinner as the evening break! This program is held in the Function Hall at Wasserman Park. Advanced registration is required and spaces are limited.
*Participants will need to bring their own protective eye/face covering, Nerf guns and foam ball/darts.

Start the night with a delicious pizza dinner, then step back in time and experience the magic of the Renaissance! Children are invited to dress up as brave knights, noble royals, mystical fairies, or legendary heroes for an evening of imagination and fun. Participants will enjoy interactive storytelling, bringing classic tales of castles, quests, and enchantment to life. Kids will also take part in Renaissance-inspired games and activities, testing their skills, creativity, and teamwork. Costumes are encouraged, and imagination is required!.

Safe Sitter® prepares students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Participants will learn tips to manage behavior along with the ages and stages of child development. Class will also include rescue skills such as choking rescue and CPR and how to assess and respond to injuries and illnesses. Lastly this course will teach participants how to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers to set students up for success now and in the future. Students practice these skills through various role plays.

Naticook at Night will be supervised with Camp Naticook and Camp Trek Staff. Participants must register in advance but may drop in at their leisure. Pizza will be served from 7pm to 8pm..

The Camp Naticook Counselor in Training Program (CIT) is a FREE Training program that prepares teens who are 14 & 15 years old to become future leaders by developing self-esteem, peer relations, interpersonal skills, and leadership techniques. CIT participants will receive training to prepare them to work with adults, peers, and children.
Through a hands on learning experience, CIT's will get the chance to plan and implement camp activities for various age groups. They will also get the chance to learn from our dedicated team of camp staff. CIT’s will help to plan and implement weekly Camp special events.
2026 SESSION DATES:
Session 1: June 22nd - July 10th
Session 2: July 13th – July 31st
Session 3: August 3rd - August 21st
There is a limit of a maximum of 8 CIT's per session.
CIT's who successfully complete the program can expect to receive:
•Experience you can put on a resume or job application when you are of age to apply for employment.
•Weekly educational/developmental blocks.
•Opportunities to plan and lead activities.
•One Day pre-camp CIT training.
•Certificate of Completion

Monday 8/17 thru Friday 8/21

Spectacular Hands-On Science! Come join this very cool and fun summer program for children in grades K - 5! Each day the kids will explore up to 20 weird and wacky hands-on science experiments and will make and take home at least 10 different projects.
The scientists are fast paced and funny and your kids will be thoroughly entertained (they’ll even learn some interesting things too). We will explore weird motions and flying things, air and water pressure; crazy chemistry, light and sound, science magic, electricity, magnets, astronomy and more.
Participants should be water, 2 snacks and lunch with them daily.
A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is due at registration for each session that you are selecting. Full payment for the week selected is due 45 days prior to the session start date.
