Stand up Paddle Boarding is the fastest growing water sport in the world. It provides a great overall workout, strengthens the upper body and core muscles while increasing balance and stability. SUP is great for all ages and skill levels. It is easy to learn and provides the opportunity to experience the beauty of our waterways without disrupting the natural environment around us. Class sizes are limited to 4 participants to maintain social distancing. The class is open to Adults and children ages 10 and up who are accompanied by an adult. Advanced registration is required. Paddleboard is provided

Class 1: Beginner 8:30am -10:00 am, Cost $40
Class 2: Intermediate 10am - 12pm Cost $45
Class 3: Beginner 12pm - 1:30pm Cost $40
Ages 7 and up
Beginner Clinic Classes: For Players who haven’t taken Instructional Clinics or who haven’t played before. Scoring, proper positioning & rules of Matchplay will all be covered. Also, fundamental stroke & shot techniques will be taught to you.
Low/Mid Intermediate Clinic Classes: For Players who have played before and who know the rules of game & proper positioning.
Proper technique will be demonstrated & taught to you for Dink Shots, Volleys as well as Serve & Return. Also, we will Critique your Doubles Matchplay and give you tips on proper positioning & Strategy.

Get certified as a Lifeguard for the Fall or for next Summer. The Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department has teamed up with Teach America to Swim to offer this American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Program. Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive a certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR and AED, which is valid for two years upon completion and is accepted nationwide.
Day 1 will be held at the Longfellow Club in Nashua. Day 2 and Day 3 will be held at Naticook Lake in Merrimack.
