Tuesdays are for experienced shooters only and there are 2 classes to choose from: 6:00 - 7:00 pm or 7:00 - 8:00 pm. Thursdays for beginner shooters and classes from run 6:00 to 7:00pm.

The Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department has partnered up with "The Next Champions Tennis Academy", directed by Head Professional Moe LeClerc, director of Nashua Country Club's tennis program for 31 years. Coaches will focus on Stroke Fundamentals, fast-paced drills, point play and many games of fun. Please bring your own racquet if you have one (demo racquets will be available at no cost upon request.). Players should wear sneakers and comfortable clothing for movement and bring a water bottle. Beginner and Intermediate players are welcome. Players will be grouped by level. Classes meet 1x per week for 5 weeks and are held on Saturdays at the Tennis Courts at Wasserman Park.

Come and join Dee Lavoie for our weekly Adult Tennis Tournament program every Tuesday Morning from 9:30 - 11:30 am at Wasserman Park from July 11th - August 22nd.
Program operates in a weekly round robin format with Singles, Doubles or Canadian Doubles depending upon attendance.
New tennis balls are provided for each match. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and program is geared towards intermediate level players. This program runs 1x per week for 7 weeks.

Come join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department on Thursday, July 13th as we travel to Portland Maine for the Harbor Lights and Sights Cruise
Participants on this one hour and 45-minute cruise will enjoy a fully narrated tour of Casco Bay, and the chance to view which gives you the chance to see up to four lighthouses and Civil War forts while cruising through some pretty island channels on the way back into port.
The bus will depart from Twin Bridge Park in Merrimack (485 Daniel Webster Highway). at 10:30 am and will arrive in Portland at 12:00 pm. You will have an hour on your own to explore the waterfront or grab a quick lunch before boarding the boat for the cruise. There will be lights snacks and a full bar available for purchase on the boat. Trip departs from Portland Maine at 3:00 pm and returns home at approximately 4:30 pm.
Trip Includes Deluxe Motorcoach Transportation and Narrated Harbor Cruise.

300 yards of free and/or breaststroke, surface dive to a depth of 9–12 feet, returning to the surface with a 10-pound object, swimming 25 yards back to the starting point, treading water for 2 minutes.

Best of Times Travel as we head to Cape Cod on Thursday, August 10th. Our first stop in the morning is in Woods Hole, the home to the center of discovery of the HMS Titanic, the world renowned Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and the national headquarters of the International Wildlife Coalition. Here we will board the ferry to the island of Martha's Vineyard.
Upon arrival, you will board a local bus for a site seeing tour. You will learn about the history and lifestyles of the islanders as you pass through Vineyard Haven. There will be free time for lunch and shopping in the historic whaling town of Edgartown. Complete your day on the island in Oak Bluffs. You may choose to stroll through “Cottage City” with its brightly painted cottages and decorative “gingerbread” trim.
