Weekly Archery Range Nights

Come and join USA Archery Certified instructors from Phoenix Archery on Tuesdays & Thursday nights r for our weekly range nights. Phoenix archery will bring equipment and be hosting a safe and fun open range night for archery enthusiasts. Age: 8 and up


Tuesdays are for experienced shooters only and there are 2 classes to choose from: 6:00 - 7:00 pm or 7:00 - 8:00 pm. Thursdays for beginner shooters and classes from run 6:00 to 7:00pm.


Cost: $20.00 per session for family registration

Cost: $15.00 per session for individual registration

The  American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course prepares candidates to  prevent, recognize, and respond to emergencies in their specific aquatic   environment. This course is open to all candidates looking to obtain  their Lifeguarding Certification. 


Course Prerequisites: 

 • Be at least 16 years old by June 14th 

 • Pass and complete the Online Blended-Learning Training, which will be sent out approximately two weeks before the training.

 • Pass the Pre-Skills Assessment outlined here:

The Aquatic Training Academy’s Water Safety Instructor training course educates aspiring aquatic instructors on the planning, preparation, and teaching of American Red Cross learn-to-swim and

water safety programs. The course includes an initial online portion, followed by a three-day in-person training.


Requirements:

• Be at least 16 yrs. old (by the last day of training)

• Pass the initial online portion (prior to in-person training)

• Pass a swim skills evaluation, which includes:

25 yards of front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke,

sidestroke, and backstroke

15 yards of butterfly

Floating on back for one minute

Treading water for one minute

Come join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department on Thursday, March 16th and test your luck as as we travel down to the Encore Boston Harbor Casino in Massachusetts. 


You don’t need to be an experienced game player to enjoy this trip. There is something for people of all skill levels. As part of registration fee, all participants will receive a $20.00 free slot play coupon.


The bus will depart from Twin Bridge Park in Merrimack (485 Daniel Webster Highway). at 9:00 am and will departs Casino at 2:30 pm to return at approximately 4:00 pm. 


This trip is open to both residents and non-residents so bring all your friends! All participants must be pre-registered and seats are limited!

Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation as we travel down to DCU  Center in Worcester, Mass to see a special production of Jurassic World  Live!

Jurassic World Live Tour is a live entertainment  experience for the whole family that is rooted within the Jurassic World  franchise complete with life-sized dinosaurs, heroes and villains. 


With pulse-pounding stunts and an original,  authentic storyline, this show is guaranteed to make memories that will  last another 65 million years.

Advanced registration is required  and tickets are limited. Each person must be individually registered for  the trip. Price includes deluxe motor coach transportation and ticket  to the show. Seats are in Section 232 and in Rows C, D & E.

Trip departs from the Exit 8 Park & Ride located at 8 N. Southwood Drive in Nashua.

Want to see New York but don’t want to drive and spend half the day looking for parking? At last, a chance for you to get away to New York, New York! The Big Apple! Here you can get an early start on your shopping, spend the day sightseeing, take in a show, or visit New York’s world class museums.

Enjoy the magic wonder and allure of New York City at Christmas time on this fantastic one day trip to the Big Apple. We'll depart early this morning from the Exit 8 Park & Ride in Nashua to make our way to downtown Manhattan. The streets and shops of New York are full of energy and holiday shoppers.

We will drop you off in the lower part of Manhattan at Battery Park giving you an ideal starting point for Statue of Liberty, the 9/11 memorial and many other areas.

Trip departs from the Exit 8 Park & Ride in Nashua at 6:00 am. We will arrive in NYC around 11:00 am and then the day is yours to do as you choose. We will be departing NYC at 6:30 pm and returning home at approximately 11:30 pm.

Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation and 

Best of Times Travel as we head to Cape Cod on Thursday, August 10th. Our first stop in the morning is in Woods Hole, the home to the center of discovery of the HMS Titanic, the world renowned Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and the national headquarters of the International Wildlife Coalition. Here we will board the ferry to the island of Martha's Vineyard.
 

Upon arrival, you will board a local bus for a site seeing tour. You will learn about the history and lifestyles of the islanders as you pass through Vineyard Haven. There will be free time for lunch and shopping in the historic whaling town of Edgartown. Complete your day on the island in Oak Bluffs. You may choose to stroll through “Cottage City” with its brightly painted cottages and decorative “gingerbread” trim.


Trip includes Deluxe Motorcoach Transportation, Tour of Martha's Vineyard, Tour Guide, Guide Gratuity and dinner on the mainland.
