The instructor lays out what Chat GPT, the artificial intelligence program could do for you- from making greeting cards, to finding what movies to watch, learning new cooking recipes, to writing work proposals, editing documents, uploading PDFs,writing e-mails, typing resumes for your job hunt. No prior knowledge necessary to take this intro class.

Join Amanda down at the beach at Wassermann Park for 75 minutes of yoga, meditation, and healing under the energy of the moon. Do you like to spend time outdoors? Accidents happen; if you or someone in your group got hurt, would you know what to do? People get hurt, sick, or lost. Many back country emergencies are preventable and even when bad things happen, sometimes the wrong care can make things worse.
Wilderness First Aid is the perfect course for the outdoor enthusiast or trip leader who wants more than basic level of first aid training for short trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups. The 16 hour long (two-day) program focuses on the skills of: Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies.
Those who complete the course and pass the written and practical skills will receive a Wilderness First Aid certification from SOLO which is valid for 2 years.
Optional CPR Training
An optional Adult CPR Certification Course will be offered on Saturday evening for an additional fee of $50.00 for those who would like to get certified. While certification is recommended; it is not required.

The StarGuard ELITE Lifeguard Certification Course is a comprehensive training program designed to prepare participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies. This nationally recognized certification course includes training in life guarding techniques, surveillance and risk prevention, water rescue skills, spinal injury management, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, emergency oxygen administration, and teamwork in emergency situations. StarGuard ELITE utilizes evidence-based training methods and realistic rescue scenarios to develop professional-level lifeguards prepared for real-world aquatic environments.
This course will be offered in a hybrid format. Participants will complete a portion of the course through self-guided online learning modules prior to attending the in-person training sessions. The in-person component will consist of two full days of classroom instruction, hands-on skill practice, water rescue training, and final skill evaluations. All online coursework must be completed before the first in-person class.
Course prerequisites include:
Participants must attend and successfully complete all online modules, in-person training sessions, practical skills evaluations, and written examinations in order to earn certification. Certification is valid for one year through StarGuard ELITE. Advanced registration is required.

Join us down at Wassermann Park Beach for Summer Slow Down, a 4-week beach yoga series designed to help you release tension, soften your body, and reconnect with yourself as the energy of summer begins to expand. Set against the peaceful backdrop of the water, each class blends gentle, mindful flow with deeply restorative yin and guided meditation. We’ll begin with slow, intentional movement to unwind stress and create space in the body. From there, you’ll be guided into longer-held yin postures, allowing the body to open gradually while the mind settles. Each session will close with meditation by the water—an invitation to be still, grounded, and fully present. This class is perfect for all levels of yoga. Come as you are, and give yourself the space to receive. Bring a mat or towel and water.

Step aboard the Indian Princess for a 90-minute scenic riverboat tour of Lake Webster, presented through Merrimack Parks & Recreation. Docked at Indian Ranch, this authentic stern-wheel paddleboat is a modern replica of the grand Mississippi riverboats of the late 1800s—and one of the few true paddlewheel vessels still operating in the U.S.
Enjoy panoramic lake views from the open-air upper deck or relax below in the climate-controlled Princess Dining Room, featuring large viewing windows, a full bar, and modern amenities. This leisurely cruise blends history, comfort, and classic New England scenery for a memorable on-the-water experience.

Come join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department on, September 10th and test your luck as as we travel down to the Encore Boston Harbor Casino in Massachusetts.
You don’t need to be an experienced game player to enjoy this trip. There is something for people of all skill levels. As part of registration fee, all participants will receive a $20.00 free slot play coupon.
The bus will depart from Twin Bridge Park in Merrimack (485 Daniel Webster Highway). at 9:00 am and will departs Casino at 2:30 pm to return at approximately 4:00 pm.
This trip is open to both residents and non-residents so bring all your friends! All participants must be pre-registered and seats are limited!
