USA Archery Certified instructors from Phoenix Archery will bring equipment and be hosting a safe and fun open range night for archery enthusiasts with shooting experience.

Join Phoenix Archery for a once a month pin shoot! JOAD Achievement Award Star Pins are awarded for scoring achievements. Archers can earn JOAD Achievement Award Stars Pins for shooting indoors and/or outdoors with barebow, basic compound, fixed pins, recurve and/or compound bows.
Second Saturday Each Month 8:00am to 11:00am
Fee: $10 per person
A current USA Archery Youth, Adult, or Family membership is required to participate in the Achievement Awards Program.

Come and join Coach Dee for this weekly Adult Intermediate Level Tennis Program. "Tennis Tuesdays" for intermediate level players only. (Must be NTRP level 3.0 or above). Singles and Doubles Social tennis OR challenge matches, by choice! We will play singles, doubles or Canadian doubles depending upon the number of participants each week.Prizes at the end of summer for best attendance and more..Tennis balls will be provided.

Wasserman Park beach
Join Merrimack Parks and Recreation on Naticook Lake to learn the basics of paddle boarding. Instruction will include, mount and dismount from kneeling to standing, and paddle stroke techniques to move and turn efficiently.
If you already know the basics and just want to get out on the water, you may skip the instruction and register just to gain access to use the paddleboard.
Paddleboard, life jacket and optional instruction is included with this hour long registration.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Come and join the Merrimack Lions Club and Merrimack Parks and Recreation for the Strides for Diabetes Awareness event — a 2K Walk/4K Run dedicated to raising awareness about diabetes and supporting those affected by it.
Whether you're a runner, a walker, or simply passionate about making a difference, this family-friendly event welcomes all ages and abilities. In addition to the walk/run, enjoy a health fair featuring local vendors, free health screenings, and diabetes education and resources to help you and your loved ones stay informed and empowered.
Let’s stride together for a healthier future — register today and make an impact! All participants will receive a Strides for Diabetes moisture wicking T-Shirt if registered by August 24th. After the race, enjoy our health fair and then our evening movie night in the Park - Moana 2 under the stars at Abbie Griffin Park.

Come join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department on Thursday, September 18th and test your luck as as we travel down to the Encore Boston Harbor Casino in Massachusetts.
You don’t need to be an experienced game player to enjoy this trip. There is something for people of all skill levels. As part of registration fee, all participants will receive a $20.00 free slot play coupon.
The bus will depart from Twin Bridge Park in Merrimack (485 Daniel Webster Highway). at 9:00 am and will departs Casino at 2:30 pm to return at approximately 4:00 pm.
This trip is open to both residents and non-residents so bring all your friends! All participants must be pre-registered and seats are limited!

Join Merrimack Parks and Recreation and Author/Presenter Martin Gitlin for a fun and enlightening program that will really entertain!
This entertaining and enlightening program will take you back to one of the greatest musical eras in American history. Enjoy video presentations of such artists as Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Everly Brothers, Fats Domino, the Coasters and Dion and the Belmonts with author and pop culture historian Marty Gitlin. Marty will discuss the impact these rock and roll pioneers made on society and pop culture. He will also challenge patrons with trivia questions and interact with a Q&A after the event. This one is a lot of fun so please join in!
Program will take place at the John O' Leary Center. Coffee and Snacks will be provided!

Take a fun and nostalgic journey through the most iconic and greatest era of rock-and-roll history with author and pop culture historian Marty Gitlin. This presentation highlights performance videos of influential British Invasion superstars such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kinks, Hollies, Dave Clark Five and The Who as well as American bands that provided a wonderful reply such as the Beach Boys, Mamas and Papas, Temptations, Simon & Garfunkel, Turtles and Rascals. The program also discusses how these artists influenced pop culture and society, compares and contrasts the music, and includes trivia questions for patrons to ponder (including snippets of songs from which patrons must identify the band!). The presentation will conclude with a question-and-answer period. This program is a lot of fun so join in!
