June 22nd - August 21st, 2026

Camp Naticook offers a unique Summer Day Camp experience in the Town of  Merrimack, NH. Located within Wasserman Park, the park was formerly the  site of a private overnight camp.  In 1989, the Town of Merrimack made arrangements to purchase the camp and turned the land into a public park. Camp Naticook operates under the direction of the Parks &  Recreation Department and has been continuously accredited by the  American Camp Association since 1994.

Camp Naticook is a traditional day camp that is geared towards children who will be entering Kindergarten up through entering 5th Grade in Fall 2026. Campers participate in a wide variety of sports, games, arts & crafts, nature exploration, swimming, boating, special events and more.

Campers who will be going into 5th  Grade in Fall 2026; have the option to participate in our traditional Naticook Day Camp program or they move up to our Camp Trek program which is for campers entering Grades 5 - 9 in the Fall which features daily field trips.

Our goal at Camp Naticook is to build an environment where both staff and  campers are open to be themselves and form friendships and connections with their peers that will last a lifetime. We strive for individuals  to embrace their own strengths and talents to form a camp community that  is rich in history and culture. We embrace our camp’s beginnings and  culture to strengthen our community.

Through the specialty areas of our camp, campers will discover new interests and embrace their previous  interests. We strive ourselves on having a united staff that shows  campers great care and compassion. Our staff works closely together and  have a strong bond that  shows in their care for our campers. Camper  safety is our staff's number one priority. After safety, it is paramount  to our staff that our campers have the best experience we can possibly  provide them. We want our campers to leave camp and remember the summer   and the memories they made. We never want any of our campers to say goodbye to Camp Naticook. Rather, see you soon."

Camp Support Services Information

While Camp Naticook has previously been able to provide one-to-one aides for campers requiring additional support, we are no longer able to offer this level of individualized assistance.

Our program is designed to serve campers who can participate successfully within their assigned group setting. Campers must be able to engage with their group and communicate their needs directly with staff to ensure a safe and positive experience for all participants.

We remain committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive camp environment and are happy to discuss whether Camp Naticook may be a good fit for your child. We encourage families to reach out with any questions or to talk through individual needs.

If Camp Naticook is not the most appropriate placement for your child, the following programs may be able to provide additional one-to-one support:

-Camp Allen – Bedford

-Recreational Education Center – Londonderry

-Camp Starfish – Rindge
