Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation as we travel down to Spirit of Springfield's Bright Nights Christmas lights show and also stop at the Yankee Candle Village
Travel through a dazzling wonderland of over 750,00 lights at Bright Nights at Forest Park. This three-mile drive-thru spectacular features festive scenes, iconic characters, and peaceful gardens, all illuminated for a joyous holiday experience.
Yankee Candle Village is more than just a candle store! Whether you're looking for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, make-your-own candle fun, or festive seasonal events, Yankee Candle® Village has something for everyone. During your visit, explore Santa's workshop and wander through the Bavarian Christmas Village where it snows every four minutes...inside! Sweeten your trip at our Fudge Shop and Yankee Candy – featuring 125 different types of candy. We will stop here for one and a half hours on our trip down to Bright Nights.
Registration includes deluxe Motor Coach Transportation and entry into Bright Nights.. Trip departs from the Exit 8 Park & Ride (3 N Southwood Dr, Nashua, NH 03063) at 2:00 pm and we return to Merrimack at approximately 8:30 pm.

Holiday Lights Local Tour on NH Party Bus

Join Merrimack Parks & Recreation and the New Hampshire Party Bus for an exciting evening of holiday cheer as we tour some of the area's best Christmas light displays. We'll visit a variety of standout neighborhood shows, with stops at the major displays so you can step out, enjoy the sights, and snap a few photos before hopping back on the bus for the next stop.
New Hampshire Party Bus maintains an extensive database of light displays across the state, ensuring a festive route with stops usually just 5–10 minutes apart. Refreshments are welcome on the party bus—so sit back, relax, and enjoy the holiday magic!

Merrimack Parks & Recreation has teamed up with Best of Times Travel for this excursion to see the Tall Ships in Boston Harbor as part of America's 250th birthday. This spectacular event offers crews, cadets and visitors from all over the world an unforgettable experience and a world-class maritime celebration.
The year 2026 marks the 250th Anniversary of our nation's founding in 1776 - the United States Sesquicentennial. For this milestone occasion, a fleet of the world's most magnificent international Tall Ships and military ships, will sail into the port of Boston as part of SAIL250.
Join us in experiencing the wonder and excitement of it all as we sail thru Boston's historic harbor on the Provincetown II, capturing magnificent views of the fleet. We'll l be viewing it all from the best vantage point possible - the water! Not only do you get the magnificence of the Tall Ships armada in Boston Harbor but this trip includes a great buffet meal at Danversport Yacht Club and light entertainment.
