Get ready for a spooktacular evening of Halloween fun for the whole family! The Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department and Merrimack Public Library are teaming up to bring the community an evening filled with Halloween activities, costumes, treats, and a FREE outdoor movie!

Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume, bring your trick-or-treat bag, and join us for Trunk or Treat, a Costume Contest, food and refreshments, and a FREE Movie Night in the Park featuring Minions & Monsters.

Stroll through our lineup of creatively decorated vehicles and collect plenty of Halloween treats along the way!

Costume Contest
Show off your Halloween creativity! Costume contests will be held throughout the afternoon in the following categories:

• 4:15 pm: Ages 0–4
• 4:45 pm: Ages 5–7
• 5:15 pm: Ages 8–10
• 5:45 pm: Family Groups

FREE Movie Night in the Park | 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Stick around after Trunk or Treat as we wrap up the Halloween Spooktacular with a FREE outdoor showing of Minions & Monsters. Movie Night is generously sponsored by the Merrimack Lions Club.

Food For Sale: 

Food and refreshments will also be available for purchase from local nonprofit organizations throughout the event. Currently the following organizations will be providing food:

• Merrimack Friends & Families - Hot dogs, Hot Chocolate

TRUNK OR TREAT PARTICIPANTS WANTED! 

We are now accepting registrations from local businesses and community organizations interested in participating in the Trunk or Treat portion of the Town of Merrimack Halloween Spooktacular! Trunk or Treat will take place from 4:00–6:00 pm, and participating organizations are encouraged to get creative and decorate their trunks for Halloween while handing out treats to children and families. 

Think you have the best trunk?

Event attendees will vote for their favorite decorated trunk, and the winning organization will receive a special prize pack! Participation is a great opportunity to promote your business or organization while being part of a fun, family-friendly community event. There is no fee to participate and it is a great way to get your business or community organization out in front of lots of Merrimack Families!  Click on the link to register for the Trunk or Treat Event no later than Thursday Oct 16th.
