The Merrimack Summer Stage Theater Program will be returning to the Wasserman Park Theater this summer.
Based on the classic animated film, Disney's 101 Dalmatians KIDS is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil, Disney's most outrageous villain, and 101 of the most adorable heroes to set their paws onstage. With a high-spirited score and lovable characters, this stage adaptation is certain to charm and delight all audiences. Pet owners, Roger and Anita, live happily in London with their Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, stalwart dogs devoted to raising their puppies. Everything is quiet until Anita's former classmate, the monstrous Cruella De Vil, plots to steal the puppies for her new fur coat. The Dalmatians rally all the dogs of London for a daring rescue of the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.The show's adorable spotted dogs and larger-than-life villainess provide ample opportunities for creative costuming. With a highly expandable chorus, your stage could easily be filled with 101 budding performers. experience.
In this week long theater camp; participants will learn about scene acting, vocal work, dance and creative movement, theater games and improvisation. Participants will work together to produce a theatrical program that will be performed at the last day of the Theater Camp. When participants are not rehearsing, fun crafts and activities will be supervised by staff.
Don’t miss out on a fun-filled week of learning and performing. It will be amazing to observe the strides the participants make in just one week. Merrimack Summer Stage is for participants between the ages of 8 – 15 years old and the program runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Participants should bring a water bottle and lunch with them daily. Snacks will be provided.
Staffing:
The Summer Stage program will be led again this year by Benjamin Erdody. Ben Erdody has been performing in the theater for 17 years, and has been a part of the Summer Stage Theater Camp for the past 3 years. Ben has previously directed last summer's Wizard of Oz, Pirates and a musical at the Amato Center in Milford last April.

Sibling Discount:
The first child in the household pays the full tuition rate. A discount of $25 per week per child is applied to the 2nd of more children in the same household who are attending the same week.
This discount applies to registrations for Naticook Day Camp, Camp Trek and Summer Stage programs for the 2024 camp season. So if 1 child is participating in Summer Stage and a sibling is participating in the same week at Camp Naticook or Camp Trek, the sibling discount would still apply on the second registration.
This summer, Naticook Day Camp has partnered with CampDoc to better serve our participants and staff. CampDoc offers an electronic health record system for camps, and you can now complete your participant’s health information electronically. The security and privacy of your participant's health information is important to us. The CampDoc site is secure, encrypted, and password protected.
