Come join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department on Thursday, March 13th and test your luck as as we travel down to the Encore Boston Harbor Casino in Massachusetts.
You don’t need to be an experienced game player to enjoy this trip. There is something for people of all skill levels. As part of registration fee, all participants will receive a $20.00 free slot play coupon.The bus will depart from Twin Bridge Park in Merrimack (485 Daniel Webster Highway). at 9:00 am and will departs Casino at 2:30 pm to return at approximately 4:00 pm.
This trip is open to both residents and non-residents so bring all your friends! All participants must be pre-registered and seats are limited!

Do you like to spend time outdoors? Accidents happen; if you or someone in your group got hurt, would you know what to do? People get hurt, sick, or lost. Many back country emergencies are preventable and even when bad things happen, sometimes the wrong care can make things worse.
Wilderness First Aid is the perfect course for the outdoor enthusiast or trip leader who wants more than basic level of first aid training for short trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups. The 16 hour long (two-day) program focuses on the skills of: Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies.
Those who complete the course and pass the written and practical skills will receive a Wilderness First Aid certification from SOLO which is valid for 2 years.

Do you love playing games? Do you want to learn how to code? Well, you are in the right place! In our Game-Based Python course, you'll learn to code by playing a game and solving coding puzzles that get increasingly challenging. As you go, you'll get to create your own game in Python using the skills and problem solving skills you have just gained!
Concepts your child will learn: Python in a visual format, problem solving skills, basic coding concepts such as variables, conditionals, loops, functions, and events! They will also learn mathematical concepts such as x-y coordinates, negative numbers, angles, percentages, remainders and more!

The 33rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Wasserman Park returns on Saturday, April 12th. Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation for this Annual tradition. For this year's event, we have 7,500 Easter eggs ready to hand out between our 5 different groups. Each group has a specific time for their Easter Egg Hunt. All children should bring their own Easter basket to collect your eggs in.

Join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department on Saturday, June 7th. Trip departs from the Exit 8 Park & Ride at 6:00 am and we will arrive in New York City around 10:45 am where you will be dropped off at Rockefeller Center. You will have until 6:30 pm to explore the city on your own at your own pace. Trip will return to Merrimack at approximately 11:30 pm. Advanced registration is required and spaces are limited!

The Camp Naticook Counselor in Training Program (CIT) is a FREE Training program that prepares teens who are 14 & 15 years old to become future leaders by developing self-esteem, peer relations, interpersonal skills, and leadership techniques. CIT participants will receive training to prepare them to work with adults, peers, and children.
Through a hands on learning experience, CIT's will get the chance to plan and implement camp activities for various age groups. They will also get the chance to learn from our dedicated team of camp staff. CIT’s will help to plan and implement weekly Camp special events.
Participants will learn lessons daily while interacting with peers and having FUN! This program will be offered in three week long sessions. Interested individuals can sign up for one three-week session. Spaces are limited to a maximum of 8 CIT's per session. Program will be led by longtime Camp Employee - Jade Boyd.
