In response to numerous requests from residents over the years, the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to announce the launch of a new Canoe/Kayak Boat Storage Rental Program at Wasserman Park, beginning in July 2025.
This pilot program will offer Merrimack residents the opportunity to rent seasonal storage space at the park, eliminating the need to transport their boats daily and providing convenient access to the water.
Program Overview:
As this is a new initiative, space is limited. To ensure a fair distribution, we will implement a lottery system. Merrimack residents interested in participating may enter the lottery, and nine individuals will be selected at random. If any spaces remain following the lottery, they will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Because Wasserman Park Beach is restricted to Merrimack residents only, eligibility for the lottery is limited to Merrimack residents. A total of nine (9) storage spaces will be available for the 2025 season.
The lottery will be open from June 13 through June 27 at 4:00 pm. Selected participants will be notified on June 27 and will receive an invoice for $75.00 to secure their storage space for the season.

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Naticook After School Program for the 2025–2026 school year.
The Naticook After School Program provides a safe, supportive environment for children in grades K–6 during the after-school hours. The program follows the Merrimack School District calendar.
For the upcoming school year, bus transportation will be available for students attending the following schools:
Families may choose to enroll their child for 1 to 5 days per week, based on their needs at a rate of $26/day for the first child in the household and additional children at a rate of $21/day.
Registration requires a deposit of just $1 per day. Program fees will be billed on the last day of each month. Advanced registration is required and spaces are filling fast.
