Celebrate Parks & Rec Week

Join Merrimack Parks and Recreation on Naticook Lake to learn the basics of  paddle boarding. Instruction will include, mount and dismount from  kneeling to standing, and paddle stroke techniques to move and turn  efficiently.
 

Paddleboard, life jacket and optional instruction is included with this hour long registration.Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Come and join the staff from Merrimack Parks & Recreation as participants get to tie dye their own summer t-shirts.

The T-Shirt and all materials are included included in the registration fee. This event is open to all ages. Please select T-Shirt size during registration.

Wasserman Park - Tennis Courts

Come and join the Staff from Merrimack Parks & Recreation to this 1 hour introductory tennis program. 

Learn the basics how to play and how to keep score. Learn tips on how to improve your skills.  This event is open to all ages and is geared towards those will little or no tennis experience.

Come and join instructor Steve Yabroudy for this FREE Cardio Pickleball Workout during this non-stop 70 minute class. 

The instructor will feeds ball quickly-point is played out. King of the Court format. Participants should bring plenty of water. All equipment is provided. Spaces are limited and advanced registration is required.

Wasserman Park - Indoor Archery Range

Come and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation and the Instructor's from Phoenix Archery for this indoor archery range night geared towards beginners. USA  Archery Certified instructors from Phoenix Archery will bring equipment  and be hosting a safe and fun open range night for archery enthusiasts  with shooting experience.

Program runs every Thursday in July

Come  and join Merrimack Parks & Recreation each month for our new  walking program "Footprints & Fresh Air. Each month we will visit  one of Merrimack's Town Parks or Conservation Areas for an easy 1 mile  walk in the Park; which will be led by Parks & Recreation Committee  member Brian Landrigan. All participants will receive a map as well as  things to observe during the hike.
 

The  goal of this program is to get people outdoors and walking while  enjoying some of Merrimack's finest open space and natural areas.
 

There  is no cost to participate, so sign up for 1 walk or join us for them  all. We do ask you to register so we have an idea of how many people are  coming and so we can send you a reminder the week with where to meet at  each location or notify you if we have to cancel due to inclement  weather.
